In my travels on the internet, I’ve come across a new multitasking car stereo. This one is the Parrot RKi8400. It is a combination Bluetooth car stereo and a hands free device kit.
It supports a variety of IPods and MP3 music devices, as well as music right off of an usb flash drive or SD memory card.
There is also support connectivity for some cell phones, like the iPhone. With this stereo you get a hands free phone device. The stereo will automatically sync with your phone when you connect it, and it will copy your phone book. You will be able to hear your calls through the stereo speakers and respond by way of the included car microphones.
You can manage your calls through the use of the main stereo unit. It has the traditional green and red cell phone buttons for making and ending a call. As well as having the
numbered telephone keypad.
The main unit features a 2.4” color screen for displaying caller information, music information from your MP3 device, and control settings from the device. There is a convenient compartment behind the main unit for storing your connected devices.
The Parrot RKi8400 comes out next month on the sixth of October. It looks like it is going to be a neat device to have. I know I probably have not done it justice on here, but feel free to look it up for yourselves.
