Prices of GPS Devices Are Coming Down
Technology usually becomes cheaper as it becomes easier to produce. This has also been true in the GPS market. However, GPS devices have had to deal with a new competitor.Many of the new iPhones and smart phones have the capability of running GPS applications. As you see with the main GPS device companies Tom Tom and Garmin, the devices on the lower end of the product line are now below $100. There are even more price cuts advertised with the upcoming Black Friday and I assume future holiday sales. Wal-Mart is advertising a TOM TOM Model One 125SE for $59 this Friday. No I’m not shilling for Wal-Mart, I’m just saying it to show the point.
